Odaily Odaily reported that market analyst Maartunn posted on the X platform that a whale has transferred 150,000 BTC in batches of 2,000 BTC in recent days. Although this seems to be a wallet rebalancing, some of the funds have been sold through the market maker Wintermute.

According to on-chain analyst Yu Jing, the <whale/institution> that accumulated 3,910 BTC in June-July, has transferred another 710 BTC (USD 43.78 million) to <Bitfinex> 6 hours ago. In the past day or so, they have transferred a total of 1,500 BTC (USD 92.98 million) to <Bitfinex>, while the BTC price has also dropped by 3% during this period.

At this rate, it will complete the sale by mid-November 2025.

Over the past day, this whale/institution has transferred a total of 1,500 BTC, worth about $92.98 million, to Bitfinex. During this period, the BTC price has dropped by 3%, from $62,200 to $60,400.
