지난주 비트코인(BTC)약 1만1509개를 새로운 월렛 7곳으로 이체하며 시장에 큰 화제를 만들었던 테슬라가 해당 비트코인을 고스란히 소유하고 있을 것이라는 분석이 밝혀졌다.
온체인 분석 플랫폼 아캄 인텔리전스는 22일 펴낸 보고서를 통해 이동된 비트코인의 움직임과 새로운 월렛을 조사한 결과, 새로운 월레 역시 테슬라 소유로 보인다고 발표했다.
지난주 테슬라 소유에서 새 월렛으로 이체된 비트코인의 금액은 당시 약 7억7600만달러(한화 약 1조731억원)다.
아캄 인텔리전스는 "지난주 테슬라가 보인 이체 움직임은 그저 회사 소유 월렛 내 자금 순환으로 보인다"며 "테슬라는 그저 보유한 비트코인 다수를 (회사 소유)새 월렛으로 옮긴 것 뿐"이라고 서술했다.
테슬라는 비트코인과 깊은 연관성을 지닌 회사다. 일론 머스크 테슬라 CEO가 2021년 2월 비트코인을 테슬라 전기차의 결제 수단으로 사용하겠다고 선언하며 비트코인의 폭등을 이끌었지만 돌연 환경 문제를 언급, 입장을 철회하며 비트코인의 급락을 이끌었다.

It has been revealed that Tesla, which made a big splash in the market by transferring approximately 11,509 Bitcoins (BTC) to 7 new wallets last week, is likely to own the Bitcoin in its entirety.
On-chain analysis platform Arkham Intelligence announced in a report published on the 22nd that after investigating the movement of the transferred Bitcoin and the new wallet, it appears that the new wallet is also owned by Tesla.
The amount of Bitcoin transferred from Tesla's ownership to the new wallet last week was approximately $776 million (KRW 1.731 trillion).
Arkham Intelligence stated that "Tesla's transfer movement last week appears to be just a circulation of funds within the company's wallet," and "Tesla simply transferred a large portion of its Bitcoin to a new (company-owned) wallet." Tesla is a company with deep ties to Bitcoin. Tesla CEO Elon Musk led the surge of Bitcoin in February 2021 by declaring that he would use Bitcoin as a means of payment for Tesla electric vehicles, but he suddenly cited environmental issues and withdrew his position, leading to a sharp decline in Bitcoin.
