According to data from cryptocurrency data research firm CoinGecko, the total market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market recorded $3.08 trillion (about 4,312 trillion won), surpassing the previous all-time high set on November 9, 2021.
The market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market has skyrocketed at a frightening pace since the election of former President Trump as the 47th President of the United States, with the prices of cryptocurrencies including rising sharply, recording a 4.28% increase in a single day on the 11th.
The market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market is chasing the 6th-ranked India, surpassing the 7th-ranked France when compared to the GDP of countries around the world. The GDP of India and France is about $3.55 trillion and $3.301 trillion, respectively.
The total market capitalization of alone is about $1.77 trillion, which exceeds South Korea's GDP.
Experts are forecasting that the market capitalization of the cryptocurrency market may surpass not only Germany, which is ranked 4th in the country's GDP, but also Japan, which is ranked 3rd.
