Odaily Planet Daily Report: The latest 13F filings disclosed by the US show that institutional investors have adjusted their holding strategies for Bitcoin ETFs in the third quarter of 2024, indicating further penetration of crypto assets on Wall Street. BlackRock's iShares <Bit>coin Trust (IBIT) remains the market leader, with nearly 700 institutional holders and a total holding of 160.2 million shares, managing assets of $42 billion. Among them, Millennium Management increased its holdings by 12.6 million shares to 23.5 million shares, worth $848 million; Capula added 1.1 million shares of IBIT ($308 million) and FBTC ($288 million). Meanwhile, some institutions have reduced or exited their positions: Point72 has cleared out IBIT and FBTC, Jane Street has significantly reduced IBIT but still holds ARKB, BITO and FBTC. Goldman Sachs has increased its holdings by 5.77 million shares of IBIT, with a total holding of 12.7 million shares ($710 million), becoming the second-largest holder, while Morgan Stanley has reduced its holdings by nearly 450,000 shares, with a total holding of $183 million.
