KOOPlanIT has joined hands with Vietnam’s blockchain industry to strengthen cooperation in the blockchain industry between the two countries. This cooperation, centered on digital assets and tokens (STO), is expected to lay the foundation for new market development and technological exchange.
On the 11th, Couplandit and its subsidiary Couplandit Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on mutual cooperation with the Vietnam Blockchain Union (VBU) at the Landmark 81 Building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This signing is intended to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two parties and promote cooperation in the blockchain industry between the two countries by sharing Korean technology and resources. In particular, it aims to support the further growth of the blockchain industry, digital assets, and STO sectors in Vietnam.
The two sides agreed to cooperate in business strategies, human resource development, and research and development (R&D) for the Vietnamese blockchain market. They also plan to improve blockchain and STO-related systems and propose the results to the Vietnamese government through industrial policy research.
As part of the cooperation, the two sides will promote blockchain technology exchanges between the Korean and Vietnamese markets, and jointly research blockchain-based solutions such as digital asset exchanges, STO platforms, personal digital wallets, and strategic plans for the Vietnamese market. Currently, Couplanit is independently developing and operating Aura (mobile live streaming social network), a web3-based social media platform in the Vietnamese market. Couplanit expects to be able to expand into the STO field in the future based on the talents of content creators.
Vietnam Blockchain Alliance is a non-profit blockchain community organization in Vietnam, registered as a legal entity in Vietnam. Its main activities are community support, strategic advice, and development of Vietnam’s blockchain industry policy. It also conducts international exchanges and enterprise support activities for government proposals, human resource development support, and network building. In this field, Couplanit plans to play a role in proposing digital assets and STO policies to the Vietnamese government.
Lim Cheol-woong, CEO of Couplanit, said, “Korea has made great progress in the blockchain industry, but it is currently stagnant due to the absence of necessary laws. On the other hand, Vietnam is in the early stages, but it is considered a promising market thanks to the strong investment of the people in digital assets and continuous technological development.” He added, “Through this cooperation agreement, we hope that the blockchain markets of Korea and Vietnam can complement each other and grow through mutual exchange.”
Dinh Le Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association, said, “This cooperation agreement is significant and is in line with the ‘Vietnam Blockchain Vision 2030’ announced by the Vietnamese government last October. Vietnam will devote itself to developing the blockchain and digital asset industry from 2025.” He added, “We look forward to more international exchanges with the goal of introducing cutting-edge technologies and business models, and hope that through the cooperation with Coupland, more Korean blockchain companies will enter the Vietnamese market.”
