Gate Token (GT) Q3 on-chain destruction completed, circulation successfully reduced to less than 100 million

According to the official announcement, in the third quarter of 2024, GT (Gate Token) completed on-chain burning, with a total of 2,244,543.9745556 GT burned. As of now, the cumulative amount of GT burned has reached 178.1 million, with a circulating supply of approximately 96 million, successfully achieving the phased goal of reducing the circulating supply to within 100 million. The GateChain mainnet has completed the v1.1.6 upgrade, significantly improving transaction confirmation speed and reducing user costs, while further optimizing the GT token burning strategy. The Gate Web3 ecosystem has also seen multiple updates in functionality and user experience, now supporting over 100 public chains and adding 1.117 million new users, becoming an important Web3 entry point. In addition, the dedicated GT mining product has been launched, providing a convenient and secure staking solution with an annualized yield of approximately 6.71%.
