According to ChainCatcher's message, eight exchanges including Bybit and Kucoin have officially announced the launch of Roam ($ROAM) pre-deposit (free of gas fees). The deposit activity will end on March 4th, 10:00 UTC, and the ROAM/USDT trading will be unified to start on March 6th, 10:00 UTC, with withdrawals unlocked on March 7th, 10:00 UTC. The eight exchanges and their specific arrangements are as follows:
- Bybit: Each user ID will receive 10 $ROAM for pre-deposit.
- Kucoin: Global first launch, pre-deposit will receive 1GB free eSIM data traffic + participation in Mega Prize Pool, batch auction from 09:00-10:00 UTC on March 6th.
- MEXC: The pre-deposit activity provides a 10,000 $ROAM prize pool, and withdrawal/flash exchange will be open on March 7th, 10:00 UTC.
- Bitget: Pre-deposit will receive 1GB free eSIM data traffic.
- Gate.io: Pre-deposit will receive 1000 Roam Points.
- Backpack: Pre-deposit will receive 1GB free eSIM data traffic.
- Hotcoin/LBank: Pre-deposit has been opened.
Roam official has also launched multiple airdrop activities: 100,000 $ROAM community bounty program, exclusive airdrop for network builders and validators, Roam Miner exclusive airdrop, and a 7-day check-in activity (up to 1400 Roam Points), to incentivize users to participate in ecosystem construction. The official tweet said that users can first deposit $ROAM to the Earn wallet (Roam App), and then transfer to the partner exchanges before 10:00 UTC on March 4th.
The total supply of $ROAM is 1 billion: 12 million reserved for the team (released in 6 years), 280 million allocated to investors, and 600 million produced through mining. Roam focuses on decentralized global wireless networks, using blockchain credentials to promote WiFi OpenRoaming and smart eSIM popularization, and providing privacy protection data layer for AI. It currently has 2.3 million users and over 2 million WiFi nodes, covering 190+ countries and regions. According to the Messari 2024 report, it ranks 4th in the "DePIN project with over 1 million global active nodes", and is the leader in hardware nodes (DePINscan.io).
