PANews reported on March 18 that, according to Bloomberg, the crypto exchange Gemini, supported by billionaire Winklevoss twins, has recently secretly filed for an IPO and appointed Dan Chen as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Chen was responsible for capital markets and banking cooperation affairs at the fintech company Affirm Inc. Gemini's former Chief Financial Officer Jared Shaw left the company in 2022. According to his LinkedIn profile, Finance Manager Tyler Skelton left the company last May. Chen posted on social network X saying, "I look forward to helping Gemini scale by driving the financial strategy as the company enters its next growth phase".
Previously, on March 8, Gemini had submitted an IPO application and is working with Goldman Sachs and Citigroup on this offering.
