Captain & Company is a pirate-themed MMORPG originally built on the Blast blockchain, and now it has expanded to the Abstract chain to allow more players to participate. Sailing (Battle)
At this point, players will be divided into two roles based on whether they hold a ship Non-Fungible Token (NFT):
- Captain: Players who hold an NFT can create a guild and become the captain, and the captain needs to lead the crew to participate in sea battles.
- Crew: Players who do not hold an NFT can join for free and become crew members, responsible for ship maintenance, cannon firing, and other tasks, and crew members can also obtain various rewards through battles.
When a player boards the pirate ship, the view will be as shown in the image below, with six cannons on both sides of the ship that can be used for attacking, and there are also cannon balls on the deck for players to load the cannons. After setting sail, players need to cooperate with each other to collect as much treasure as possible and defend against external enemies.
Resources and Economic System
When players collectively defeat enemy units such as sea monsters and pirate ships, treasures will drop at that location, and players need to use their ships to collect them. The treasures contain various resources (coins, Nuggies, blueprints, materials, mXP), and players need to accumulate a large amount of treasures to enhance their characters and pirate ships.
In-Game Inventory
In the game, players can open the inventory by pressing the Esc key, which will show the current amount of loot collected, contribution points, and map information. Through the inventory, players can consider whether they should first sail to the extraction point to settle the loot or continue to fight on the map.
Settlement Screen
When the pirate ship accumulates a certain amount of wealth, the captain can choose to sail the ship to the extraction point (red beam). Upon reaching the point, the system will distribute the currently collected resources according to the contribution points, ensuring that players do not lose too much loot in PVP battles (if the pirate ship is sunk, 70% of the loot will be dropped).
Talent System
When the player's level increases, they will receive one talent point. The talents are divided into three branches: tactics, explosives, and repair. Players can upgrade according to their playstyle preferences, but the author suggests focusing on one series of talents. In the example image, the author has allocated all talent points to the repair branch, allowing them to focus on repairing the ship during voyages.
Exchanging mXP for Abstract XP
Before playing the game, players must link their Abstract address on the KAP Games website, or they will not be able to convert the points. The mXP earned in the game is an important channel for exchanging Abstract XP. Players need to manually claim the mXP points on the Captain&Company website to convert them.
The mXP will be converted to a certain amount of Abstract XP every Tuesday, but the exchange ratio will be dynamically adjusted each week. The official will distribute the Abstract XP to individual players based on the total mXP earned by all players that week. The more mXP you earn, the more Abstract XP you will receive.
Gameplay Insights
Captain&Company is a multiplayer cooperative game, and it is recommended to select a good pirate ship (with many active members) before playing. Otherwise, a single player will not be able to handle tasks such as sailing, firing, and repairing the ship simultaneously.
Based on the gameplay experience, most players prefer tasks like sailing and firing, which is why the author chose to specialize in repair skills. Since the rewards are distributed based on contribution points, it is best to cooperate with each other and work together to find the big treasures!
Roach Racing Club
The Roach Racing Club is a racing game that combines gameplay with trading, running on the Abstract blockchain. The game is themed around "cockroach racing," where players can participate in races by guessing the real-time price movements of certain cryptocurrencies (such as BTC, ETH). The top three players can receive MTGN score rewards.
Game Homepage
The game homepage has three functions:
- Main page: Check current stamina, upgrade cockroaches, and start races.
- Friends: Inviting friends can earn 10% of the points they earn as a reward.
- Missions: Completing various social tasks can earn the in-game MTGN points.
Game Interface and Gameplay
When the game starts, players can use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons in the bottom right to guess the price movements. If the player guesses correctly, the cockroach's running speed will increase, allowing them to overtake opponents. If the guess is wrong, the cockroach's speed will slow down, making it easy for opponents to surpass. The greater the price fluctuations and the further the player's guess is from the actual price, the greater the impact.
MTGN Point Usage
The MTGN points earned from the game and missions are crucial for the game, and are mainly used for the following three functions:
- Restore stamina: When the stamina is depleted, MTGN points must be spent to restore it before the next game can be played.
- Upgrade cockroaches: MTGN points can be used to upgrade the cockroaches' endurance and recovery speed, which will help players participate in more games.

Gameplay Experience
First, observe the habits of the majority of players in the game, whether they tend to cash out at low multipliers (1~2x) or go for high multipliers. Then, trade against them. The advantage of this is that when most players are trying to get low multipliers, as long as you're lucky enough to predict a high multiplier once, you can pull ahead until the end. And when most players are going for high multipliers, as long as the market doesn't meet their expectations and is only fluctuating slightly, you can pull ahead with a few small accelerations.
Gigaverse
Gigaverse is a role-playing (RPG) game developed by the GLHFers team and built on the Abstract blockchain. The game combines classic RPG mechanics with modern blockchain innovations, aiming to provide players with an infinitely expandable game universe that continues to grow in content.
Minting a Character
Before starting the game, players need to spend 0.00369 ETH (about $8) to mint their own character.
Entering the Game
After owning the NFT, the player will be born in the dungeon. At this point, the player can control the character's movement with the mouse, but the bottles and cans around the character currently have no tools to break them.
At this point, the player may wonder why there are no destructible objects or monsters in the dungeon? We can first move the character to the bottom of the map until we find the lever shown in the image below and turn it, then move to the top of the map to enter the challenge instance.
Instances
After opening the portal, players will find that Gigaverse has two types of instances to challenge:
- Normal Mode: Consumes 40 stamina per battle, with gameplay similar to "rock-paper-scissors" - sword beats magic, magic beats shield, and shield beats sword. When the two sides are even, no major damage will be done. Players will have the opportunity to strengthen their character's abilities after each victory, and should prioritize enhancing the character's weaknesses.
- Gigus Mode: In this mode, players will face stronger enemies, and the loot will be rarer than in Normal Mode. However, due to the higher difficulty, it is recommended to participate in this mode later on.
Players can repeatedly clear Normal Mode to farm materials and permanently upgrade their character's abilities, gradually progressing to higher difficulty levels. From the top right corner, we can see that the character's current stamina limit is only 240, not enough to continuously challenge Normal Mode 10 times, so it is recommended for players to focus on farming Normal Mode and upgrading their character's abilities in the early stage.
Gigaverse ROMs NFT
There are also Gigaverse-exclusive NFTs available for purchase on Magic Eden. Purchasing ROMs NFTs will allow users to increase their character's energy limit, enabling them to challenge more instances. At the time of writing, the floor price of the NFTs is around 0.09 ETH, which is quite expensive. If you simply want to earn Abstract XP points, it is recommended to continue playing with the minted character.
Future Development
The official team has announced on Discord that they will introduce an equipment system in the future, which can be used to further enhance the character's abilities and progress through the instances. The game is still in its early stages, so it might be a good idea to participate in the game ecosystem and earn Abstract XP points.
Gameplay Experience
In the early stage, the goal is to use up all your daily stamina by continuously challenging the instances and earning materials to upgrade your character's abilities. Once your character's abilities are upgraded, you will notice that the instances become significantly easier to progress through.
Comparison of Three Abstract Games
All three games allow players to earn Abstract XP points and participate in potential airdrops. For players with available time, it is recommended to play all three games daily to maximize the chance of accumulating airdrop shares.
Tx-related Issues
When playing the aforementioned games, most of the time we are playing for free within the game, so if there is no on-chain activity, it will not be displayed on the Abstract website. However, we can be certain that any interaction with the official DApps will earn us Abstract XP as a reward, and potentially lead to future airdrops.
