Planet News: According to informed sources, Sam Altman's World Network is negotiating with Visa to integrate Visa card functions into its self-custodial crypto wallet World Wallet, aiming to enable fiat currency deposits and withdrawals, stablecoin payments, and usage across global merchants covered by the Visa network. World Network, which expanded from the Worldcoin ecosystem, has previously launched the World Chat application and supports encrypted payments between users. It is understood that World Network is also in talks with Rain, a crypto card service provider supported by Coinbase and Circle, which has previously provided Visa card support for projects like Optimism and Avalanche. One source stated that World Wallet's goal is to create a "mini bank account" that allows users to complete foreign exchange transactions, crypto trades, top-ups, and payments within the wallet.
