PANews reported on March 25 that according to The Block, the Arbitrum DAO is discussing whether to withdraw the remaining funds from the "Gaming Catalyst Program (GCP)" launched in 2024. The original plan allocated 225 million ARB (approximately $215 million at the time) to support the Web3 gaming ecosystem over three years. The proposal points out that the project was overly optimistic when approved, and now faces issues such as insufficient transparency, management changes, and key supporters' departure. GCP council members responded that 25 gaming chain projects are currently using Arbitrum technology. The community has not yet reached a consensus.
