According to ChainCatcher, the TRC20-USDT issuance has increased to 66.7 billion tokens, reaching a new historical high. Since the beginning of this year, the TRON network has cumulatively issued nearly 7 billion USDT, and currently, TRC20-USDT accounts for 46% of the total USDT issuance across the network, with 63.35 million holding accounts and over 2.4 billion cumulative transfers.
Additionally, the cryptocurrency payment gateway NOWPayments recently stated that TRC20-USDT has become a dominant force in the payment field and is widely popular.
It is understood that TRC20-USDT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Tether on the TRON network, and its characteristics of fast transfers and low fees have attracted a large number of users. It is supported by multiple exchanges including Binance, HTX, OKX, Bitfinex, MEXC, Kucoin, gate.io, and Poloniex. The TRC20 version of USDT will significantly enhance the existing decentralized application ecosystem of TRON, bringing higher overall value storage and stronger decentralized exchange liquidity, and providing a more convenient blockchain entry for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
