According to CNBC, citing informed sources, the AI giant OpenAI is in talks to acquire the AI code writing tool Windsurf (formerly Codeium) for approximately $3 billion.
Informed sources revealed that the acquisition negotiations between OpenAI and Windsurf are still ongoing, and the transaction details have not been finalized.
