PANews reports on April 23 that Coinbase's Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal stated on X platform: "We have made half the progress: Alabama has just withdrawn its enforcement action against Coinbase - the number of states filing such erroneous staking lawsuits has been reduced by half in just two months. Five states still choose to waste taxpayers' resources on lawsuits, with four of them prohibiting staking on Coinbase, depriving consumers of the right to profit on their platform of choice."
