ChainCatcher reports that, according to The Block, Coinbase has confirmed the establishment of a physical office in Charlotte, North Carolina, and plans to immediately hire approximately 130 local employees, with positions primarily focused on compliance and customer support.
This expansion is part of the company's response to Trump administration policies and commitment to strengthening domestic investment, with CEO Brian Armstrong previously promising to hire 1,000 people in the United States during the early part of the president's term.
