PANews reported on April 29 that according to The Block, crypto venture capital firm Pantera Capital announced the appointment of former Kraken Chief Legal Officer Marco Santori as a general partner, responsible for expanding the crypto asset portfolio. Santori stated that he is joining Pantera at a critical time when governments worldwide are recognizing the value of blockchain technology.
Santori served as Kraken's legal head from 2020 to January 2025, previously holding the position of Chief Legal Officer at Blockchain.com and participating in the development of the SAFT compliant token issuance framework. He has long been an industry representative at congressional hearings and currently serves as an advisor to multiple projects.
