IRS crypto chief leaves, veteran official Trish Turner takes over

PANews reports on May 6th that according to Bloomberg Tax, two senior officials from the IRS Digital Assets Unit, Sulolit "Raj" Mukherjee and Seth Wilks, have recently resigned, both having served for just over a year, and were originally responsible for compliance enforcement and strategic development. Replacing them is Trish Turner, a veteran official who has worked at the IRS for over 20 years and was previously a senior advisor to the Digital Assets Office.
