This move utilizes Lightspark's payment infrastructure to reduce transaction fees and accelerate payment processing speed. Users need to complete KYC verification in their Revolut account and hold BTC to experience the Lightning payment feature in the upgraded App.
Lightspark is a company led by former PayPal executive David Marcus, focusing on building global payment solutions based on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Currently, Revolut has not yet announced the specific launch time for this feature.
