According to Foresight News, the Bitcoin native zk rollup project GOAT Network has officially launched the GOAT BitVM2 testnet, becoming the first BitVM2 testnet to go live and achieving implementation within a week of its white paper.
GOAT BitVM2 reduces the challenge period from the original 14 days to less than 1 day, integrating zkMIPS zero-knowledge proof, decentralized sequencer, and multi-round random challenge reward mechanism to form a complete Bitcoin native zk rollup solution. The official statement indicates that the code is fully open-source, the testnet is comprehensively open, and developers can participate in staking, challenging, and bridging operations, with challenge node recruitment simultaneously launched.
