​​Upbit suspends EOS network asset deposits, withdrawals and transactions

Mars Finance News: According to an official announcement from Upbit, to cooperate with the EOS network brand restructuring and token replacement work, Upbit will suspend deposit and withdrawal services for EOS and IQ tokens starting from 11:00 (Korean Standard Time) on June 4, 2025, and simultaneously suspend withdrawal functions for 6 tokens including ADD and BLACK. The EOS/KRW and EOS/BTC trading markets will be suspended from 14:00 on June 5, and after resumption, the market names will be changed to A/KRW and A/BTC. According to the project announcement, EOS will be renamed to Volta (token symbol changed to A), with a 1:1 exchange ratio. Volta plans to focus on developing Web3 financial businesses, including wealth management and payment sectors. Upbit stated that it will maintain communication with the project team to ensure user asset safety, and the specific resumption time will be announced separately.
