EDCON 2025 will be grandly held from September 16 to 19, 2025, at the Congres Square Grand Green Osaka in Osaka, Japan. This is EDCON's second time hosting an event in Japan after EDCONTokyo in 2024.
This year, Linktime and UETH are honored to co-host the event in collaboration with the Osaka Prefecture and Osaka Innovation Center (OIH). By establishing closer cooperation with the local Web3 community and relevant departments while connecting EDCON's global resources, EDCON 2025 will present an Ethereum event that differs from typical conferences, featuring more community interaction, long-lasting impact, and promoting East-West exchange in the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, with the 2025 World Expo taking place in Osaka, Japan, attracting up to 30,000 visitors daily from around the world, this will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest Web3 technologies and community activities.
EDCON 2025 will provide attendees with an unparalleled experience, offering opportunities to connect with leading blockchain projects and delve into critical topics such as Cross-L2 interoperability, user experience improvement, peerDAS, DeFi revival, d/acc, cryptography, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.
Super Demo x WaveHack
EDCON's traditional Super Demo project has undergone innovation. To select more high-quality Web3 startup products and provide them with prize support and exposure, Super Demo will collaborate with WaveHack, a brand event under the famous Japanese developer community Akindo. Products recognized by participants during the 14-day WaveHack will have the opportunity to demonstrate at Super Demo and even compete for substantial prize money in the finals.
PopX -Osaka: Paving the Path to your Web3 Career
As a prelude to EDCON, Pop-X Osaka is a series of Web3 themed events co-hosted by UETH with Japanese and global Web3 communities. The event aims to attract diverse audiences through insightful lectures, practical workshops, and engaging, thought-provoking panel discussions.
This pop-up event will highlight the transformative potential of blockchain technology, introduce practical skills necessary for success in the Web3 industry, and allow participants to experience the vibrant collaborative culture of the Web3 community.
