Starting from August 25, 2025, Kaia DLT Foundation (Kaia) will co-host the "Kaia Wave Stablecoin Summer Hackathon" with Tether and LINE NEXT Corp. The event aims to select outstanding Kaia USDT and stablecoin DeFi projects with landing potential and help them enter the LINE Messenger "Dapp Portal" ecosystem with 194 million monthly active users.
The winning teams will launch on Mini Dapp, allowing users to experience stablecoin trading, staking, earnings, and other functions within LINE, and connect to Kaia's powerful Web3 ecosystem and business network. The event will also align with the Kaia Wave Season 2 ecosystem plan, providing continuous support for Mini Dapp builders.
The hackathon's total support amount reaches $1.17 million: including a $170,000 cash prize pool and a $1 million investment quota for ten outstanding projects. Developers can now register through the Dorahacks hackathon page (dorahacks.io/hackathon/kaia-stablecoin-summer/detail).
On August 25, the organizers will hold an offline launch event at WebX in Tokyo; the online final pitch will be held on September 30.
