On August 8th, according to the official announcement, Animoca Brands and its affiliated companies (collectively referred to as "Animoca Brands") today announced the completion of a strategic investment in the Non-Fungible Token brand Cool Cats Group.
After the investment, Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group will own a majority stake in Cool Cats Group. Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group aim to promote innovation and growth, enhance community engagement, and explore new market opportunities for Cool Cats in the rapidly developing Non-Fungible Token field.
After the investment, Animoca Brands will appoint two new board members to advance Cool Cats' development: Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, and Kenneth Shek, project lead of Mocaverse and Moca Network.
