A month ago, BTC’s rapid pump left almost no trading activity in the $112,000 - $114,000 range, creating a clear gap in the URPD (UTXO Realized Price Distribution) structure—a classic “gap” that, according to crypto lore, always gets filled sooner or later. (Figure 1) Fast forward a month, as of August 27, the $112,000-$114,000 gap has been completely filled, merging what were previously two separate supply zones into one massive wall stretching from $93,000 to $118,000. This is now a super thick cluster—think of it as a fortress of coins. (Figure 2) There are 5.59 million BTC piled up in this zone. That means, in just 9 months since November 20, 2024, over 5 million coins have been bought in this price band—that’s 28% of the circulating supply! If you exclude lost coins, Satoshi’s stash, and other long-term HODLers, the real percentage is even higher. Without any major black swan events, I honestly think it’ll be tough for BTC to break through this wall. Right now, BTC is finding support at the STH-RP 108k level, and below that there’s another 420k BTC holding the line at $104,000. There are no major URPD gaps left now. If you really want to nitpick, there’s still a shallow gap between $72,000 and $80,000. Do you think we’ll ever see “cheap” BTC in that range again?
