Currently, Japanese residents are required to declare cryptocurrency gains as "miscellaneous income," with a maximum tax rate of 55%. After the reclassification, trading gains on these 105 tokens will be taxed as capital gains, with the tax rate reduced to a flat 20%, on par with stock trading. Yi Lihua: ETH's pullback to $3000-$3300 presents the "best buy the dips opportunity."
Yi Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital (formerly LDCapital), posted on the X platform that the US stock and cryptocurrency markets have recently experienced a sharp decline due to weakening expectations of a December interest rate cut. However, his team still believes that the $3,000 to $3,300 range for ETH is the "optimal entry point." He mentioned that he had maintained his position when ETH fell to around $2,700, but the psychological pressure from the market correction led him to reduce leverage to mitigate risk before ETH fell below $3,000 in this round of trading. In this round of operations, he stated that he will focus on spot trading and will no longer use leverage. He plans to continue adding to his ETH position during subsequent adjustments and patiently wait for the market to change.
Trader Eugene wrote that BTC's drop below $100,000 is significant for two reasons: first, the last support level of the high-cycle bullish structure was breached, with the 50-week trendline being lost for the first time since 2022; second, the $100,000 level, a strong psychological barrier, has transformed from support into resistance. He emphasized that against this backdrop, he has "no intention of buy the dips the dip" and considers the $90,000 area as the next point of focus, with capital protection being the primary strategy at present.
