U.S. prosecutors denied making any promises of immunity in the FTX partners case.

According to Cryptopolitan, former U.S. federal prosecutor Danielle Sassoon vehemently denied promising immunity to Michelle Bond, a partner of former FTX executive Ryan Salame, at a high-stakes evidence hearing in Manhattan federal court. Sassoon testified regarding Salame's guilty plea, which resulted in a sentence of more than seven years in prison. Bond, one of the last remaining individuals linked to the former FTX executive's criminal case, is seeking to have the charges dismissed, arguing that prosecutors "induced Salame's guilty plea." Bond pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit illegal campaign donations, facilitating and accepting excessive campaign donations, facilitating and accepting donations from illegal corporations, and facilitating and accepting channel donations.
