According to ChainCatcher, citing Cointelegraph, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov stated in an interview with MN Capital founder Michael van de Poppe that decentralized finance (DeFi) has currently completed about 30% of its large-scale adoption process and is expected to reach 100% global adoption by 2030.
Nazarov points out that global adoption will reach 50% when regulations become clearer and explain the reliability of DeFi; 70% when institutional users have clear and efficient paths to invest in DeFi; and 100% when the capital base of DeFi can be meaningfully compared with traditional financial asset allocation.
