On December 16, according to Coindesk, Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered crypto bank, has acquired Securitize's "Securitize For Advisors" business unit, bringing the crypto wealth management platform designed for registered investment advisors under its umbrella.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. This transaction formally establishes the existing partnership between the two companies. Anchorage Digital Bank already managed 99% of Securitize For Advisors' client assets, and this business unit had been operating on Anchorage's infrastructure.
