This is because regulatory-resistant payments are a crucial requirement, something other cryptocurrencies cannot currently achieve. Monero ( $XMR ) is at 474 now; you can buy the dip without overthinking it. With increasing regulatory controls targeting large Bitcoin whales (Chen, Qian), I personally believe the most valuable cryptocurrency on the blockchain right now is Monero (XMR). Resistance to regulation in payments is a hard necessity, and currently no other coin achieves this.
