According to Mars Finance, the US initial jobless claims for the week ending January 10th will be released at 21:30 tonight, with a previous value of 208,000 and an expected value of 215,000. Today, BitMine, the largest holder of Ethereum, will hold its annual shareholder meeting to vote on an over-issuance (from 500 million shares to 50 billion shares). If the vote passes, BitMine will receive more funds to purchase ETH, thereby boosting ETH price expectations. FOMC permanent voting member and New York Fed President Williams will deliver opening remarks at an event; 2026 FOMC voting member and Minneapolis Fed President Kashkari will speak; 2027 FOMC voting member and Atlanta Fed President Bostic will speak; and 2027 FOMC voting member and Richmond Fed President Barkin will speak on the economic outlook for Virginia.
