Pendle and Curve are both top-tier protocols and comparing them is apples to oranges.
However, as a tokenholder, I prefer a simple model where the value accrual is transparent.
The ve-model adds unnecessary complexity. Between lockups, gauges and bribes, it becomes complex to determine if the protocol is actually profitable or inflating its supply to boost activity.
Once your product is mature & with PMF, you shouldn't need to pay your users to use it.
