It was then that the wheels of fate began to turn. On January 18, 2018, I resigned from the foreign trade industry and passed the interview to work for a company based in Shanghai that organizes offline summits. The HR of this company is a friend of mine. I knew him when I was working in foreign trade. He saw me looking for a job and brought me into this summit company. I was assigned to the blockchain department, responsible for operations and business development, which involved inviting industry leaders to give speeches and attracting businesses to pay to attend, providing an offline platform.
