I've been farming gold in MapleStory, and I wanted to sell some $NXPC for the Chinese New Year, but I forgot to switch blockchains and used MapleStory's native blockchain. When I transferred it to Binance, it said there was a deposit error, and I was devastated. Following Binance's instructions, I applied for a refund myself. Then I searched for other people who had transferred to the wrong blockchain and found that the chances of recovery were slim. But in less than a day, Binance recovered my account and refunded it!
