According to Malaymail, Malaysian tech entrepreneur Arsyan Ismail sold his AI.com domain name in April 2025 for approximately US$70 million (about RM301 million). The buyer was Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Cryptocom. The domain had previously been listed for US$100 million in March 2025. Ismail, now 43, purchased the domain in 1993 at the age of 10 for US$100. He was involved in projects such as Kawanster, Nuffnang, and Friendster in his early career. He founded 1337 Tech in 2013 and is currently active in the blockchain and cryptocurrency field, also collecting rare digital assets.
