Hong Kong Consensus Solana Accelerate APAC Review x Professional Personally, I liked the Solana Accelerate better than the main Consensus event. With all the lights in Solana's key colors, the space felt different from the outside world from the moment you entered. Everyone was like, "Wow!" I think that consistent branding and a compelling feeling are important for offline events. Personally, I was deeply impressed by the pitch given by the CEO of Jupiter. He asked, "Why can't other teams do Jupiter?" and, with the line, "Nobody ships like Jupiter," he demonstrated a detailed and significant update list. He said that in 2026, he will focus on JupUSD, Global (QR Pay, credit card, Jupiter ID), collaboration with Polymarket (prediction market), Academy, and the upcoming Offerbook (a money market that allows all assets to be traded on-chain). The other presentations were more business-oriented than technical, and I could sense that the world is paying attention to RWA and stablecoins. Each booth and prop was decorated with a Hong Kong New Year's Eve/night market feel, or perhaps a Solana-esque touch, making it fun to look at. It was also more pleasant than KBW, offering a variety of coffees and meals. (The other menu items were just okay, but the fruit was delicious.) I think it's because it's more of a builder-focused event than a typical retail event. (Plus, the main event is expensive, but the Solana Accel event, held in the same convention building, is free with just a Luma registration.) Every time I attend a global event, I'm reminded of the differences in interests between Korea and other countries. Seeing and participating in various projects, and meeting people, made me want to create more memorable content and events. I'm having fun learning in Hong Kong!
