His recent statement claims that if the US held 4-6 million Bitcoins, it could pay off its $38 trillion debt and bring Americans $80 trillion in benefits—a return even exceeding the US's purchase of Alaska. He says that if the US were to hold Bitcoins now, it would be like getting it done effortlessly. And the US has already acquired hundreds of thousands of Bitcoins for free. The only risk is that Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, and Europe might beat them to it, but he believes the US will accomplish this feat!
