Tarrifs are now a huge MESS. When Trump tariffs were first imposed, companies largely passed the costs directly to US consumers. A $100 item became $135 overnight. Consumers bore roughly 90% of the tariff burden, adding up to $175 billion in extra costs across the economy. Now, a court has ruled those tariffs illegal. Companies are suing the government to reclaim that full $175 billion in refunds. But the refunds go directly to the businesses that paid Customs. Not to you. Not to the consumers who actually paid higher prices for years and There is no mechanism to reimburse retailers or shoppers. None. So let's recap what just happened: - Companies raised prices to cover tariff costs - Consumers paid $175B+ in elevated prices - Tariffs ruled illegal - Companies get a $175B+ check from taxpayers - Consumers get nothing They win twice. You pay twice. And this is exactly why people are furious.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 U.S. court rejects Trump’s request to delay $175 billion in tariff refunds.
Companies can now move forward with reclaiming duties they were required to pay.
If fully processed, this would mark the largest trade related payout in U.S. history.
