On March 4, US President Trump and German Chancellor Merz made separate statements after their meeting. Merz stated that he and Trump shared the same position on overthrowing the Iranian regime and would discuss the "post-Iran" era.
Trump stated that Iran is attacking countries unrelated to the current situation and no longer possesses air defenses and detection capabilities. The US launched another attack on the new leadership today, and we will continue to move forward. The worst-case scenario is that we attack Iran, and the person who comes to power is just as bad as the previous one. We hope to find a more suitable candidate. We'll see what happens on the Iranian side, but first we need to complete the military operation. Perhaps it's more appropriate for the Iranian issue to be handled by people inside Iran.
According to PolyBeats , after Trump's statement, the probability of "the Iranian regime falling before June 30" rose slightly to 38% on the prediction market Polymarket, and the probability of "the Iranian regime falling before March 31" rose slightly to 16%.
