UniSat will launch an upgrade to the Ordinals system to enhance infrastructure and product experience.

Odaily Odaily reports that UniSat has announced a system upgrade to the latest version of Ordinals, covering the index layer, protocol support layer, product layer, and API layer. This upgrade, expected to be completed gradually over the next few weeks, aims to improve the standardization and on-chain data representation capabilities of the Ordinals ecosystem. At the infrastructure level, UniSat is upgrading its Ordinals index to the latest version, providing a data foundation for supporting new features while improving the index's stability and scalability. After the upgrade, the index will support Ordinals' newly introduced Traits feature, enabling attribute-based filtering in transactions and enhancing the representation and composability of aggregate assets. The next version of UniSat Wallet will add support for importing from other major wallets; UniSat Marketplace will gradually implement several feature upgrades over the next few weeks; and UniSat Inscribe will support the new on-chain aggregate inscription, simplifying the existing inscription process. The updated UniSat API will simultaneously support the above new features, including querying new on-chain data such as Traits, minting on-chain aggregates, and enabling zero-fee transactions.
