I’m really excited to share that Primavera is finally launching on @artblocks_io on March 20, and that it will remain open to mint throughout the whole spring season. I’ve been working on it for more than a year, and over that time it slowly gathered many of the things I’ve been looking for in generative art. Botticelli was there from the beginning, and more specifically the hair of Flora and Venus. That image stayed with me as a way of thinking about movement, grace, rhythm, and structure, and little by little it found its way into the core of the project. Another important layer comes through Art Blocks post-params, which allow the collector to complete the definition of the main chromatic configuration within an evolving collection. And somewhere in the background, throughout the whole process, there was also this idea of a new spring for generative art. 🧵👇
