AI CODING: DASHBOARD OR PIPES?
The biggest change in AI software development over the past 4 months is that it went from being a predominantly DASHBOARD product (an IDE in which engineers spent time) to an increasingly PIPES product (background coding agents that run mostly independently and can be invoked from many interfaces).
Companies in the AI software space who embrace this reality will thrive, and those who deny  or resist it will struggle or die.
