In 1792, 24 brokers gathered under a buttonwood tree on Wall Street and signed a two-sentence agreement. That document became the NYSE. 234 years later, we are in just as pivotal a moment. ICME is enabling a new type of market that has never existed before: A pre-IPO market that allows companies to face exposure to public capital markets and global retail investors at an earlier stage.  For the first time, major exchanges will have a pipeline of pre-IPO companies ready to list.  Private markets hold $15T+ in value. Most of it never trades. The world is excited about NewFi, and we are grateful to have co-hosted the first ever NewFi summit with NYSE. This was a gathering to talk about how we will tokenize and trade private equity, giving retail higher upside and giving institutions a new asset class.  This is just the beginning 🦅
