According to Foresight News , Stack BTC, a publicly listed Bitcoin treasury company backed by Reform Party leader Nigel Farage and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng, purchased 37.1898 Bitcoins at a price of approximately $72,385 per coin (approximately £53,778), for a total expenditure of approximately $2.69 million (£2 million). This brings the company's total holdings to 68.1898 Bitcoins.
According to a previous report by Foresight News , Stack BTC, with former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng serving as its executive chairman, is positioned as a listed investment vehicle that simultaneously holds high-quality cash flow businesses and Bitcoin reserves. Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party and current Member of Parliament, previously invested in Stack BTC through his company Thorn In The Side Ltd., holding a 6.31% stake.
