Ethereum Foundation launches security audit subsidy program

According to TechFlow TechFlow, on April 14th, the Ethereum Foundation, in conjunction with Nethermind (Ethereum infrastructure developer), Chainlink Labs (on-chain data service provider), Areta.io (smart contract auditing firm), and several top auditing firms, launched the Trillion Dollar Security Initiative, introducing the Ethereum Security Subsidy Program. This program provides Ethereum developers with a total of $1 million in security audit subsidies. The program aims to reduce the cost of security audits, improve developers' accessibility to audit services, and further strengthen the security of the Ethereum ecosystem. Audit applications will be jointly reviewed by the aforementioned organizations, supporting CROPS (Content Optimization Projects) and new use case projects. Security auditing is considered industry best practice, but it is expensive; this initiative will help encourage more projects to adopt auditing services.
