TechFlow to a report by GeekWire on June 12, Prometheus, an AI startup co-CEO of Jeff Bezos, announced the completion of a $12 billion Series B funding round, valuing the company at approximately $41 billion. Investors include JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, DST Global, and Arch Venture Partners.
Prometheus is developing a "general-purpose artificial engineer" AI tool aimed at accelerating the design-to-manufacturing process for physical products such as bridges and chips. Jeff Bezos stated that the company has no IPO timeline at present, and early-stage products are about to be launched. Prometheus currently has approximately 150 employees with teams in San Francisco, London, and Zurich.
