According to BlockBeats news, on January 20, Manta Network officially posted on social media that the project team will start from 17:30 on January 18, 2024, Beijing time (TGE time) to 11:30 on January 20, 2024. Any gas fee greater than 0.001 ETH paid on Manta Pacific will be refunded compensatory. Manta Network stated that Manta Network is the first Ethereum Layer 2 on Celestia. Through Celestia DA, users can significantly save gas costs. In one month, Manta saved users approximately $1 million in gas fees. Unfortunately, this DDoS attack on the network caused gas prices to temporarily increase well beyond normal levels. In response, the gas fees incurred in this incident will be refunded to affected users.
