Autonolas is an automated applications development platform. So what is special about this project? Let's find out with Coin68 through this article!
What is Autonolas (OLAS)? Automated application development platform
What is Autonolas (OLAS)?
Autonolas is an automated application building platform for developers and decentralized organizations (DAOs).
What is Autonolas (OLAS)?
Autonolas provides extensive documentation for developers to learn how to use the Autonolas stack. Autonolas stack includes three main components: Open Autonomy framework, Autonolas protocol and a set of tools for building automated applications. These toolkits are repositories of code that anyone can use to launch popular automated services.
Autonolas components
Open Autonomy
The Autonolas project provides an open framework (also called Open Autonomy) for creating agent services. These agents are off-chain automated services that operate as a multi-agent system (MAS) and provide advanced on-chain functions.
Agent services can expand the scope of traditional smart contracts. Therefore, they can perform arbitrarily complex operations (e.g., machine learning algorithms).
Autonolas Protocol
The Autonolas Protocol is a collection of smart contracts designed to coordinate, protect, and manage applications on public blockchains. The Autonolas protocol has the characteristics of automated services, providing developers with incentives commensurate with their contributions to the Autonolas ecosystem.
The main components of the Autonolas protocol include:
On-Chain Registries: The Autonolas protocol has on-chain registries, allowing registration of automated services, software agents, and agents as on-chain Non-Fungible Token . This allows for seamless integration of agents into automated services.
Autonolas Tokenomics: At the heart of the Autonolas economic model is the OLAS Token .
Governance: The Autonolas DAO is a decentralized organization that Vai as the governance component providing the means to direct and improve various aspects of the Autonolas protocol. This governance structure ensures the ability to meet the growing needs of the community.
Automated application development toolkit
SMPKit: SMPKit is a toolkit designed to build services and implement investment strategies on liquidation pools.
MintKit: MintKit Vai as a toolkit for building services with the Mint feature.
CoordinationKit: CoordinationKit helps create services that track community contributions through badges.
MLKit: MLKit allows building services with custom machine learning capabilities.
OracleKit: OracleKit is designed for services that provide data streams on blockchain.
IEKit: Impact Evaluator Kit (IEKit) is an enhanced version of CoordinationKit that automatically tracks and rewards user contributions using Ceramic streams.
GovKit: GovKit is a toolkit that helps build AI-powered delegates to vote on on-chain governance proposals on the Ethereum and Solana networks.
MechKit: MechKit helps create AI Mech and services on the Gnosis chain, these services allow users to post tasks on-chain and receive results efficiently.
KeeperKit: KeeperKit is a toolkit for building agent services with smart contract execution functionality.
Autonolas' governance mechanism
Autonolas DAO is made up of veOLAS holders with non-delegable voting rights. Any user holding at least 5000 veOLAS can create a governance proposal for voters to vote on. Once a governance proposal is created, it will have a two-day XEM period, after which voting will begin. Voting lasts for three days and any address with veOLAS can participate in voting on the proposal. If a proposal is approved, it can be implemented two days later.
Some changes to the Autonolas Protocol can be implemented by community-owned Multisignature , bypassing the governance process. This allows a group of trusted actors to control governance in certain aspects, e.g. security vulnerabilities that need to be patched, without discussing governance.

What is OLAS Token used for?
Vote on governance proposals. To vote on governance proposals, users need to Stake OLAS to receive veOLAS, then use veOLAS to vote on proposals.
Use Autonolas services.
