Blockspace is one of the biggest markets in crypto, is completely here to stay despite sentiment suggests and remains a blue ocean opportunity. Some ideas that I'm excited about: 1. Enterprise - Positioned as Saas vs. cryptonative solution, fully verticalized developer experience, no need for third party dev tooling, positioned with an enterprise ready integration process, sales & support 2. Rollups - Raise capital to go on an acquisition spree to bring crypto adoption ready businesses onchain, M&A as a compounding strategy, resulting in bundled price discovery for underlying businesses 3. Real money amusement - Design a chain to be an immersive purely for fun experience with lore orientated chain design mechanics, all mention of crypto fully abstracted, positioned as a real money games ecosystem 4. Knowledge graphs - Universal or vertical specific knowledge graphs (decentralized global stores of record) that establishes provenance for curated data/knowledge, context, authority and verification for content

Two major onchain social protocols changed hands in under 48 hours...@farcaster_xyz → @neynarxyz and @LC → @masknetwork. In @TheBlock__'s Jan 25 edition of *The Funding*, our Research Associate @jakub_rusiecki shared why crypto social is uniquely unforgiving: “distribution and network effects dominate,” and crypto adds extra friction around wallets, safety, moderation, and identity. He also pointed to a key lesson from early SocialFi: incentives can spark attention, but they don’t create durable reasons to stay, like consistently strong content or meaningful social loops. Onchain revenue isn’t just growing, it’s reshuffling who earns it. One of the most overlooked findings from our Onchain Revenue Report is the velocity of leadership rotation: • 69% of fees come from the top 20 • But 25% of the top 20 rotates every quarter • DePIN’s top 5 jumped 26% → 88% in one year • Wallets show similar consolidation (Phantom leads) Innovation cycles are compressing. Incumbency is thinning.
