OP_RETURN filters on Bitcoin do work. If they didn't work then people wouldn't need to remove them. People saying it doesn't work are lying. Of course it works. People who need OP_RETURN find the filters hostile. The policy can change and stop their apps working at any time.

I've been saying for years that Bitcoin needs a technical upgrade. It is possible to make Bitcoin scale to have fast, cheap and fully anonymous payments while having very low requirements to run a full node. We're not in 2011 anymore. twitter.com/Narodism/status/19...
