The $9B on @aave earning below T-bill rates is baffling. - If it's a DeFi trust issue, why not go to tokenized T-bills? - If they're afraid of centralization or fiat, why be in a centralized stablecoin in the first place?

One of the more painful lessons I learned early in crypto was taking 12am meetings for 2 weeks for a company I wasn’t paid by. I asked for two basics: an NDA and a paid scope. The answer was always, “after the deal closes.” I kept helping because I wanted to be supportive. Lo and behold, after the deal closed I never heard from them again. In hindsight, it was a clear red flag: if a team can’t establish basic professional boundaries during stress, they won’t suddenly develop them later. Protect your time and choose who you help carefully.

You get a robo-advisor and a customer service chatbot. The mass affluent ($500K to $5M) hold over $55 trillion in wealth globally. That's double what the ultra-high-net-worth hold. Citi's own research admits, they're "underserved in terms of the financial products they have access to." I came up with the phrase jokingly, but the more I talk to users the more I realize this is a real underserved segment that is right in front of us.
